What we are looking for:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated RV Mechanic who is eager to deliver Wow to our Guests, Customers and Co-workers every chance he/she get.  We are looking for candidates who think “We are happy to first” and are passionately accountable and resourceful at accomplishing tasks in a confidenthumble and trustworthy way.

Job Description:

As a Cast member, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  •  Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, tire mounting and balancing, servicing transmission, fluid and filter replacements, brake replacements, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
  •  Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of Guests' problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
  •  Inspect vehicles according to the province's requirements for emissions and safety
  •  Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
  •  Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both Guests and CanaDream
  •  Maintain and update electronic data for service record files
  •  Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
  •  Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  •  Must be a certified Automotive Service Technician
  • High school diploma/GED required
  •  3+ years of service technician experience
  •  Ability to operate all auto repair tools
  •  Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must
  • Extensive knowledge of different automobiles  and their service needs
  • Professional demeanor and efficient problem solving skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with Customers and Guests
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have basic math skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts and their functions
  • Ability to effectively communicate automotive issues clearly
  • Ability to work independently, managing his or her time and work flow
